Sailing End-of-Season Party Sat. May 24

Good afternoon everyone,

The Andress family will be hosting the end-of-season sailing party on Saturday, May 24th from 3-6pm at 2786 Northshore Rd. This is the same location as last spring. For those that haven't been there before, it is an awesome spot on the shore of Lake Whatcom with boating, swimming, and sailing opportunities if the weather allows. Parking is limited so please carpool if you can.

This will be a potluck so please bring something to share. RSVP by signing up your name, a dish to share, and any allergies etc. on this spreadsheet:

Based on feedback in the last few weeks, this was the time that worked for the most people! If anyone can only make it for part of the time, please let us know. We want to do the end-of-year awards at a time that works for everyone.

Re: Silver Champs 5/3-5/4 in Anacortes

Hi Everyone,

Couple of updates for this weekend's regatta.

Waiver - Please fill out.

Sailing Instructions - Sailors should read through this and remember the course diagram. 

Gear -  Everyone needs to bring a wetsuit. In the past AWA has required everyone to wear one. 

Food - Lunch is not provided. Please bring a sandwich from home or buy one in the morning at Haggen. The Meyer's are bringing some snacks (bars, fruit, crackers, cheese, and water) for everyone. Thank you Lorena, Rob, and Dawson!

1100 First Warning: Racing will continue throughout the day.
Eat during boat rotation – no lunch break.

Sunday, May 4, 2025

0745 Meet at Sehome Samish Way Haggens
0900 Report Time
1000 First Warning: Racing will continue throughout the day.
Eat during boat rotation – no lunch break.
1500 No races started after this time.

Housing - We will be driving back Saturday night. 

Cost - $10 regatta registration fee, plus money for food and gas money to carpool drivers.
