End of Year Party - Monday 5/29
Sailors and Parents,
Our end of year potluck and awards party is scheduled for this Monday, 5/29, 4:00pm. The party will be at Jacob's house this year, address is 1873 N Shore Rd. This will be a potluck, so please use the link below to sign up for what food you can bring. If you could also put how many family members you are bringing on the right hand column of the sheet, that would be very helpful!
I hope everyone can attend, both sailors and parents please!. Anyone that was part of the team either spring or fall should come. It will be a potluck like last year, so everyone should bring something. Auction Details
Sailors, for tomorrows auction please show up at 1:30 at the BYC. Dress nicely as we will be hosting. Please also bring your dessert if you have purchased one or made one yourself. If you collected any auction items please bring those as well.

Sailing Team Updates
Practice: We have two more weeks of practice, last practice is May 18th. The annual Round-the-Island Race will happen sometime between today and next Thursday.
Saturday's Auction: Some parents mentioned difficulties purchasing tickets for the auction. Here is a direct link: http://youth.byc.org/2017-byc-youth-sailing-dinner-and-auction-fundraiser-registration-form/ There is an option at the bottom to pay via credit card, check, or BYC account.
Auction Prep: We have a lot to do on Saturday to prepare for the auction. All team members are expected to help out before and after. Below is a list of the items we need to take care of.
- Show up at the BYC 1.30pm Saturday, May 13th.
- Moving and setting up tables and chairs and food service area.
- Setting tables
- Preparing baked potatoes
- Either serving tables or serving at a food line
- Clear plates from tables and do the washing up/put away.
- Clear tables and chairs away post event, vacuum floor.
Pizza and drinks will be provided.
