Lakewood Regatta Details

This weekend our regatta is here in town at Lakewood on Saturday.  We will have a great turnout of around 140 sailors.  The following sailors have committed to sailing this weekend: Elsa, Liam, Miles, Victoria, Sawyer, Ben, Shannon, Jack, Jeffrey, Riley G, Kara, Elise, Robyn, Curran, Clara E, and Nick.  That is 16 which is exactly 4 teams.  If anyone is missing from this list I can add you, but no one is allowed to drop out.

You will all need to be at lakewood by 8:30 to help rig boats.  Entry fee is $5 dollars per sailor, which covers the food that Karen (Rileys mom) and Heather (Clara E's mom) will be preparing.  I expect everyone that is sailing this weekend to help out whenever possible.  Help the other teams get their boats rigged, launched, de-rigged, etc.  Make sure everyone uses our procedures for taking care of boats.  

Also, the Orcas team will be here Friday afternoon and the Portland team will be staying Sunday morning.  They would like to have a team race scrimmage with us both those days.  Exact time to be determined, but likely Friday at 3:00 and Sunday morning around 9:00.  Let me know if you are available to come practice those times.
