Hope all is well with you! I understand that the High School Sailing Team
has had a great Fall and Spring season. Congratulations!
The MC Scow JR Regatta is currently scheduled for Sunday, July 20, 2014. I
was hoping that you would pass the word to the High School Sailing Team and
possibly the BYC Junior Sailing Team. This years regatta will be open to
all junior sailors age 20 and under.
Last year we had a total of six (6) boats competing with a total of nine
(9) competitors. It would be great to get more JR's involved.
Competitors need not worry about having a boat to use. Boat assignments
will be sorted out at the skippers meeting on the day of the event.
It would be great if Competitors would fill out the attached Registration
Form and Liability Release Form prior to the event and then provide these
forms to me, along with the $5 entry fee, on the day of the event prior to
the skippers meeting.

End of Year Party
We have scheduled our end of year party for Sunday June 8th at 5:00pm. The Weaver's have offered to host. Their address is 1041 Coronado Ave. Bham 98229.
I hope everyone can attend, both sailors and parents. Anyone that was part of the team either spring or fall should come. It will be a potluck like last year, so if everyone could bring something that would be great. Reminders
1. For the team going to the regatta, please meet at BYC at 5:30pm. This is a change from original emails. But the final time is 5:30. Bring waiver, sleeping gear, money, etc.
2. EVERYONE please bring a bake sale item to the BYC either tomorrow at 5:30 or Saturday morning at 10:30am.
Bake Sale Saturday
This weekend the sailing team will be hosting a bake sale at the Bellingham Yacht Club. We are asking each sailor to donate at least one dessert item. We have lots of fun and festive items coming in, but we need more. The sailing team traveling to Silverdale this weekend will be meeting at the BYC on Friday at 5:00pm (not Sehome Haggens) which makes it a perfect time to drop off your items. If you are not going to the regatta this weekend or just want to help out, you can still bring your baked goods on Friday at 5pm or Saturday morning at 10:30am. The bake sale will go from 10:30am - 1:30pm.
