Regatta Housing and Help

This weekend we are hosting a two day event down on the Bay.  There are a couple things we could use help with:

1. Housing: Traditionally the host will provide housing for visiting teams.  This only needs to be floor space (the kids will bring sleeping bags/pads, etc).  If you have a couch or spare bed for the coaches that's always appreciated.  You do not need to feed the kids.  We have not done this recently due to covid, but if you are willing please let me know.  Teams are between 6-10 kids typically.  Some teams will need housing Friday and Saturday, some only Saturday.
2. Regatta Help: If you are available to help in any capacity at the regatta this weekend let me know.  We could use help with registration, dock master (making sure the kids get in the right boat), boat repair person, snacks (for our team), and on the water race committee help.  Let me know if you are available for any of those jobs.  Thanks,

Driver Needed

We have the following group going this weekend both days:

Ian, Luca, Maya, Emma, Bailey, Izzy, Mike, Julian, Mia, Aili, Nate, Simone, Katie, Britton, Oscar, August, Willow, Solvay, Hans, and Soren.  Keagan is still deciding.  So 20-21 total.  

Driving we have Gillis 4, North 4, Logan 4, Gray 4 - Saturday only, and Copeland 4 - Sunday only, which means we need one more driver that can take 2-3 kids.

Combined Division 3/26-3/27

Hey Whatcom Sailing,

This weekend we have the SSP Combined Division!  

This is a big regatta with a lot of boats on the line - it should be a lot of fun!

Please see the NOR (Notice of Race) 

SCHEDULE:

We will be leaving Saturday morning, and returning Sunday evening. 

Meet at Sehome Haggen at 8:30am on Saturday morning and carpool from there.  

We will likely return between 6-7 on Saturday.

Sunday we will meet at Sehome Haggen at 7:30am.  No races will start after 3:00pm so we will load boats and be back in Bellingham between 5-6.

Seattle Regatta Details

Team,

This weekend we will be heading down to Sail Sand Point for a north regional regatta.  It is a two day event, but we will be returning each day.  We still need everyone to fill out the regatta signup for this weekend.  The link to do that is here: https://forms.gle/SHXaqb8v7wE3hMar7
