Bainbridge Team Race

Sailors,

Sorry its taken my a while to get this out and haven't responded to many emails lately.  My dad was having some medical problems so I have been dealing with that. 

This weekend is the bainbridge team race regatta.  The regatta will be in Poulsbo though and only a one day regatta. Those signed up to go are:

We will plan on meeting at Sehome haggens at 6:20.  Take 7:55 ferry from Edmonds.  Arrive at Kingston at 8:25.  Arrive in Poulsbo by 8:45.  Back to Bellingham Saturday evening.

BYC Silent Auction - Donation Items Needed

Sailors and Parents,

The BYC Youth Fleet Silent Auction will be April 30th.  This fundraiser supports youth sailing and racing including the boats and equipment used for both the BYC Race Team and Whatcom Sailing.

Practice During Spring Break

Team,

We will be having practice this coming week during Spring Break for those in town.  The WWU classes will be starting up, so we are back to launching off the crew dock.  If you can come early, rig and launch that would get us more time sailing.

SYC Regatta

We are all set for drivers tomorrow, Kathy K, Kathleen R, Jeff W, Steve H, and Wendy K.  Jeff, you only need to take 4 in your car fyi.  

See everyone tomorrow morning.  Dont forget waivers and money.  No need for a bailer this weekend since we are sailing V15s with auto bailers.

SYC Regatta

This weekend we go to Seattle for the SYC regatta.  It is a one day regatta on Saturday.  Entry fee is $10.  Entry fee includes continental breakfast and lunch.  We will meet at 8am Saturday morning and drive down.

Orcas Regatta

This weekends regatta is the Orcas Regional.  We have a limited number of boats available and it is not a rotational event, so we can only bring about half the normal team.  Those going will be: Liam, Lera, Mallory, Jeffrey, Shea, Connor, Nick, Peyton, Quinn, Lauren, Hannah, Maia

This regatta is Saturday only but we are planning to go over early on Friday to practice with the Orcas team.  We will be staying at the Anders hanger again.  So bring sleeping gear as usual. We are planning to take the 1:55 ferry from Anacortes. This will mean you will need to get out of school early on Friday.  We will plan on meeting at Sehome Haggens at 12:15 on Friday.  If this schedule does not work for anyone please let me know.
