Ranking Regatta #2 @ Bainbridge

Hi Everyone,

Listed below are the sailors going to Ranking Regatta #2. Because this is a varsity/gold event, we can only send 4-5 sailors per school.

Sailors - Avery, Axel, Bella, Emma, Katy, Max, Oscar, Oz, and Tristan.

The hosts have not sent the NOR out yet. So we are missing some key details for logistics planning. I will send out more information once the Regatta hosts get back to me.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Cooper

Ranking Regatta #2 Signups Closing

Hi Everyone,

Ranking Regatta #2 signups are closing tonight! Please fill out the Regatta Signup if you haven't already. This is a Varsity only Regatta, so we can only send one team per school. Everyone should sign up if they are interested in going and we will pick the 8-10 sailors from there. We are short on carpool drivers so if any parents are available to drive, please fill that out on the signups as well.

Only half of sailors have completed our Goals and Pairs form. Sailors- this is your homework before sailing on Tuesday. It should take around 5 min.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Cooper

Home Clinic Tomorrow

Good morning,

Our Clinic is from 10 am to 4 pm tomorrow, March 2ndThe plan is to start and end at the Zuanich dock, but we might move to the BYC basement if the weather turns on us. A Remind message will be sent out tomorrow morning confirming the start location.

Wetsuits are required!  We are looking at a chance of snow in the afternoon. Please let us know if you need a wetsuit, BYC has a couple to lend out.

Please bring lunch as it's going to be a long day. We will have a break for lunch. The exact time of lunch is TBD and dependent on the weather.

These are all the sailors who signed up! We are closing the signup tonight, so you have today to update if you are going or not. Since this is a home event and a clinic (not a competitive event), everyone who signed up as "yes" is expected to attend.

Sailors currently signed up to go: Aoife, Avery, Campbell, Cole, Emma, Errol, Frank, Hans V, Katy, Keagan, Nate, Oz, and Tristan.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Best,
Cooper and Anna

First Practice Recap +Swim Test

Hi,

Everyone did a great job today getting the boats ready for the season. Apologies for ending abruptly, the basement was double booked on accident.

Thursday might be quite stormy. If that is the case, we will meet at BYC basement again. A Remind will be sent out on Thursday on where to meet. Please let us know if you did not get the Remind message today but thought you were on Remind. If you are not on Remind, join it by texting @sailboats to 81010.

There are two opportunities to complete the swim test: one is tonight (Tuesday) with Scott at 7pm, the other is tomorrow (Wednesday) with Anna at 7pm. Both are at Arne Hanna and consist of a 50m swim and 5 min treading water. All sailors have to complete it for the season. It's not a test of how fast you can swim, simply a quick check in.

Please let us know if you have any questions!

Best,
Anna and Cooper
